The Ryan White Program
Our Comprehensive Case Management program helps you get the care and support you need.
Hope and Help’s comprehensive case management program is part of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A helps people living with HIV get the care and support they need — even if they don’t have health insurance or enough income to cover their care. This federally funded program is managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the HIV/AIDS Bureau.
How can I qualify for the program?
- Have proof of HIV status.
- A positive HIV test result is required.
- Live in one of these counties Orange, Osceola, Lake, or Seminole County.
- Meet income requirements.
- Your gross household income must be at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty level.
- Program funds can’t be used if another source (insurance, Medicaid, etc.) can pay for the service.
Services You May Qualify for:
Early Intervention Services
Support to connect you with HIV medical care and other services as early as possible.
HIV Medical Care
Access to licensed healthcare providers in clinics, offices, or mobile units for diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care.
Housing Assistance (HOPWA)
Help with housing case management, rent/mortgage and utilities assistance, permanent housing placement, and more.
Medical Nutrition Therapy
Work with a registered dietitian on a nutrition plan and get food or supplements if needed.
Medication Assistance
Pick-up and delivery of eligible prescriptions.
Mental Health Services
Screening, diagnosis, counseling, and treatment for mental health needs.
Oral Health Care
Dental exams, cleanings, and treatment from licensed dental professionals.
Peer Mentor Support
Talk with someone who understands what you’re going through and get emotional and practical support
Substance Use Services
Programs for drug or alcohol use disorders, harm reduction, recovery readiness, and relapse prevention.
Transportation & Food Services
Help with transportation to medical appointments and access to nutritious food.
